Governor General to Meet With President Bush and With President Calderón

OTTAWATheir Excellencies the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, and Monsieur Jean-Daniel Lafond will meet privately with The Honourable George W. Bush, President of the United States of America, on Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Ottawa International Airport.
Their Excellencies will also meet with His Excellency Felipe Calderón, President of the United Mexican States, during a reception they will host in his honour at Rideau Hall on August 21, 2007. There will be a pooled photo opportunity for the media prior to the reception at 5 p.m. Opening remarks at the reception will be open to media. Media interested in covering the event are asked to contact Isabelle Serrurier.
