Minister of Finance to Address the Canada West Foundation

The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will be the guest speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Canada West Foundation on Thursday, August 30, 2007. The Minister will begin speaking at approximately 12:15 p.m.
Minister Flaherty will speak about the current state of Canada's economy, and the need to meet some key challenges to keep it strong.
The event will take place in the Stephen Room A & B of the Hyatt Regency Calgary, 700 Centre Street SE.
A media availability will follow in the Neilson 3 of the Hyatt Regency Calgary.
