Reminder: Governor General's activities in Quebec City - September 17 and 18, 2007
QUÉBECTheir Excellencies, the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, and Monsieur Jean-Daniel Lafond, are continuing their stay Quebec City on September 17 and 18, 2007. On Wednesday, September 19, 2007, the Governor General will visit Thetford Mines, Quebec, where she will be greeted by His Worship Luc Bertholdt, Mayor of Thetford Mines, and will visit students at the Cégep de Thetford.
The following is an itinerary of the Governor General's activities.
Monday, September 17

2 p.m. Visit to Cégep de ThetfordDiscussion with students at the Cégep de Thetford on the theme of "Living Together." There are over 60 students from Réunion attending the Cégep de Thetford this year. The discussion will focus on setting down roots, an openness to the world and the benefits of such exchanges to the health of our communities.
