The Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will meet the Afghan
Education Minister, Mohammed Hanif Atmar, in Ottawa on October 3, 2007.
Ministers Bernier and Atmar will discuss a variety of issues of interest, such as recent
progress in education in Afghanistan.
Before their meeting, the ministers will hold a photo opportunity.
