Luc Harvey Participates in Annual Gala of Canadian-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry

MONTRÉAL, November 16, 2007 - On behalf of the Honourable Jason Kenney, Secretary of State (Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity), Luc Harvey, Member of Parliament (Louis Hébert), will participate tomorrow in the annual Cèdre et Érable gala of the Canadian-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This annual event pays tribute to Canadians of Lebanese heritage who have made significant contributions to Canada.
"This evening, I am pleased to pay tribute to all those who enrich our society through their exceptional, professional contributions," said Mr. Harvey. "Our Government is committed to reaching out to all Canadians and is developing lasting relationships with ethnic and religious communities in Canada."
