Ottawa, OntarioPrime Minister Stephen Harper today issued the following statement on the results of the election in Saskatchewan:
"On November 7, the people of Saskatchewan exercised their democratic right and elected the government of Premier - elect Brad Wall. On behalf of the Government of Canada, I congratulate him on his successful campaign. Premier – elect Wall has been given a mandate to address the issues of importance to all the people of Saskatchewan, and I look forward to working with him to build a strong Saskatchewan in a strong Canada."
