Ottawa—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, has recorded a New Year Message which will be available to media.
Television
Television networks will be able to obtain a copy of the Governor General’s message by calling Johanne Roy at 613-288-6324 at the Société Radio-Canada, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Embargo: please hold until December 31, 2007, at midnight.

Radio stations can obtain an audio copy of the Governor General’s message by calling Johanne Roy at 613-288-6324 at the Société Radio-Canada. Embargo: please hold until December 31, 2007, at midnight.
