The Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will participate in an event
marking the 10th anniversary of the Ottawa Convention banning anti-personnel mines,
on December 3, 2007.
This event will highlight the great progress in the international effort to rid the world of
the scourge of anti-personnel mines, as well as Canada’s continued commitment to
mine action.
