January 24, 2008, Toronto, ON – The Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), on behalf of the Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for National Research Council Canada (NRC), today presented a Canadian Innovation Leader Certificate to Nanowave Technologies Inc. at the company's facility in Toronto.
Nanowave designs and manufactures advanced components for communications and radar systems, serving the leading aerospace, avionics, defence and communication systems manufacturers.

The Canadian Innovation Leader initiative celebrates the successes of innovative Canadian firms identified by the NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), which assists innovative Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises in their technology and R&D projects.
