Sept-Îles, Quebec, January 16, 2008 The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of Canada Economic Development, will be in the region to meet with members of the Côte-Nord Advisory Committee. Representatives of the media are invited to attend a press briefing with the Minister, at which time he will take their questions.
Composed of local stakeholders, this Committee was established to advise Canada Economic Development and its Minister on key issues of concern to the region's economy.
