Governor General Marks the 20th Anniversary of the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse

OTTAWAHer Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, will be delivering a speech during a reception to mark the 20th anniversary of the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA), which was established by an Act of Parliament in 1988. The event will take place on Monday, February 11, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. in the Château Laurier's Québec Suite in Ottawa. Her Excellency is the CCSA's honorary patron.
A private reception will follow the opening remarks.
Media who wish to cover the speeches are asked to arrive by 5:20 p.m.
