New McGill University Research Centre at NRC
February 13, 2008, Montréal (QC) – The media are invited to the opening of a new hi-tech research centre dedicated to the development of supermaterials for the aerospace industry.
Dignitaries include the Honourable Michael M Fortier, Minister of Public Works and Government Services, on behalf of the Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the National Research Council (NRC) , Mr. Raymond Bachand, Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade of Québec, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for the Montréal region, Professor Denis Thérien, Vice-Principal, Research and International Relations of McGill University, Dr. Pierre Coulombe, President, NRC and Mrs. Manon Harvey, Vice-President, the Canadian Foundation for Innovation.
