Minister of Finance to Officially Open Egmont Group Secretariat

The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will officially open the secretariat of the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units, on Friday, February 15, 2008, at 9:00 a.m.
Minister Flaherty will highlight Canada's role in the Egmont Group and the government's commitment to counter money laundering and terrorist financing.
The event will take place at the Egmont Group Secretariat, 175 Bloor Street East, South Tower, Suite 1803, Toronto, Ontario.
