Ottawa, Ontario – February 15, 2008 – The RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre will be hosting the Virtual Global Taskforce’s (VGT) 3rd annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia. The conference will take place February 18-20, 2008, at the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel, 900 West Georgia Street. The conference aims to build an awareness and understanding of the challenges faced when fighting a borderless, cross jurisdictional crime-internet child sexual exploitation.
Media are invited to attend the opening of the conference and the keynote address by Jim Gamble, VGT Chief Executive, Monday, February 18, from 8:30 am - 9:20 am, in the Pacific Ballroom.
