On Wednesday, February 27, 2008, the Honourable Peter Gordon MacKay, Minister of National Defence and Minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Honourable Beverley J. Oda, Minister of International Cooperation, and the Honou rable Maxime Bernier, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will provide on-the-record updates on Canadian diplomatic, development and defence activities in Afghanistan.
Senior representatives from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, the Canadian International Development Agency and the Department of National Defence will also be present during the briefing (not for cameras; attribution to senior government officials).
