OTTAWA–Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, joined by the Right Honourable, Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, will host the Public Service Outstanding Achievement Awards ceremony at Rideau Hall on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 4 p.m.
Together they will present the Outstanding Achievement Award to five senior executives of the Public Service of Canada who have distinguished themselves by a sustained commitment to excellence.
The list of the award winners and their citations will be available at the ceremony.
Accredited media who wish to cover this event are advised to arrive at Rideau Hall at 3:45 p.m.
