Gravelbourg RCMP obtained a Canada Wide Warrant for Robert Charbonneau, age 49, for failing to appear in court on the charge of Fraud over $5,000 on April 9, 2008.
Mr. Robert Charbonneau from St.Sauveur, Quebec was charged with one count of Fraud Over $5,000, Sec. 380(1)(a) of the Criminal Code on July 5, 2007. He failed to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on Wednesday April 9,2008. A Canada Wide Warrant was issued for his arrest at that time. The charge relates to a fraud investigation at an educational institution in the community of Gravelbourg during the period of 2004-07-01 to 2005-10-06. The crown alleges that the fraud is in excess of $100,000. Follow up and efforts to locate Mr.Charbonneau has failed to locate him to date.
