QUÉBEC – Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has just released a list of March convictions of fish harvesters in the Gaspé and Lower St Lawrence fined for various violations of the Fisheries Act.
The total amount of the fines imposed is $1,450. The offenders are:
Fisheries and Oceans Canada is mandated to protect and conserve marine resources and is ever alert for any poaching of marine resources.
