La Baie, Quebec, April 21, 2008 – Representatives of the media are invited to a news conference during which the Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of Canada Economic Development, will unveil part one of Canada Economic Development's Strategic Plan for 2008-2011. The announcement of this first part, which seeks to support flagship projects for the regional economy and tourism, marks the beginning of Phase 2 of the Canada Economic Development plan launched in fall 2006.
