The Minister of Finance, Jim Flaherty, will meet with provincial and territorial ministers of finance and treasurers for a working dinner on May 29 and further discussions on May 30.
The meeting will provide ministers an opportunity to discuss their respective economic and fiscal outlooks following the budget cycle as well as review recent developments in capital markets.
The meeting will take place at Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hotel, 1201 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, Montréal, Quebec.

Minister Flaherty will hold a media availability in Salon 4 on Level 2.

Media wishing to participate in the photo-ops should present themselves at the Lamartine Room, on Level A, 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Please note: Cameras and boom microphones only.

Ministers will pursue a dialogue regarding their respective economic and fiscal outlooks as well as recent developments in capital markets. Bank of Canada Governor, Mark Carney, will join their discussions.

Minister Flaherty will hold a media availability on Level B, in the Foyer of Salons ABC.
Media Working Room / Registration
A media working room will be located in the Lamartine Room located on Level A of Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hotel.
The media working room will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, and from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30.
Please be aware that workspace is limited, therefore it will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis upon registration.
