The Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety, will launch Emergency Preparedness Week with an announcement at the Toronto Heavy Urban Search and Rescue (HUSAR).
A brief question period to follow. Members of the media are invited to attend.
A number of demonstrations by Toronto HUSAR of search and rescue techniques will take place.
