The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will be the guest speaker at a lunch hosted by the Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce on Friday, May 23, 2008. The Minister is scheduled to begin speaking at approximately 12:35 p.m.
Minister Flaherty will discuss the Canadian economy and how it is positioned to meet the global challenges ahead.
The event will take place in the Courtyard Ballroom of the Ramada Inn and Suites, 1050 Eckhardt Avenue West, Penticton, British Columbia.
