OTTAWA-Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, will receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, and will deliver the convocation address at the Jubilee Auditorium on Tuesday June 10, at 10 a.m.
In her speech, the Governor General will stress the importance of the freedom to think, beyond the institution walls, to counter indifference and silence.
