, sans-serif">On Friday, July 4, 2008, the Canadian Civilian Police Contingent Commander in Kandahar Province, Superintendent Joe McAllistar, will provide an on-the-record overview of Canada's police training, mentoring, and infrastructure and equipment support activities in Afghanistan. This will be done via teleconference from Kandahar.
Senior representatives from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, the Canadian International Development Agency and the Department of National Defence will also be present during the briefing (not for cameras; attribution to senior government officials).
