GATINEAU, Quebec, August 22, 2008 - Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008.
This closure will not affect pedestrians.
This lane closure is necessary to allow a large crowd of people to safely cross the Alexandra Bridge fo r a gathering on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause.
