GATINEAU, Quebec, August 11, 2008 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Des Allumettes Bridge in Pembroke will experience p periodic lane closures from Wednesday, August 13 at 9:00 a.m. until Friday, August 15, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
One lane will remain open to traffic at all times with alternating traffic flow controlle d by flagmen at each approach to the bridge.
This lane closure is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause.
