On Thursday, August 21, 2008, CANADEM's Director of the Canadian Governance Support Office (Afghanistan), Grant Brown, and Canada's chargé d'affaires for Afghanistan, Ron Hoffman, will provide an on-the-record overview from the field on Canada's role in Afghanistan, specifically the role of the Canadian Governance Support Office.
Senior representatives from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, the Canadian International Development Agency and the Department of National Defence will also be present during the briefing (not for cameras; attribution to senior government officials).
