OTTAWA-Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, will officially open the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea Annual Science Conference (ICES) in Halifax on Monday, September 22, at 1 p.m., and will deliver the keynote address.
The ICES Annual Science Conference is being held from September 22 to September 26, 2008. The opening of the conference will take place at the World Trade and Convention Centre, located in downtown Halifax at 1800 Argyle Street.
