GATINEAU, Quebec, October 16, 2008 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Ottawa bound lane of the Alexandra Bridge will remain open, but will be reduced in width on Friday, October 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Also, from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, until Sunday, 6:00 p.m. on October 19, the Gatineau bound lane will be closed to vehicular traffic.
This lane reduction and closure will not affect pedestrians, and is necessary to conduct routine inspections.
The schedules may change subject to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
