QUÉBEC – Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region has just released a list of September convictions of fish harvesters in the Magdalen Islands marine sector fined for various violations of the Fisheries Act.
The total amount of the fines imposed is $7,700. The offenders are:
Fisheries and Oceans Canada is mandated to protect and conserve marine resources and is ever alert for any poaching of marine resources.
