Ottawa – Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, has recorded a New Year Message which will be available to media.
The Governor General's New Year Message will be made available by the Parliamentary Press Gallery. Other television networks will be able to obtain a copy of the Governor General's message by calling Johanne Roy at 613-288-6324 at the Société Radio-Canada, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Embargo: please hold until December 29, 2008.
Radio stations can obtain an audio copy of the Governor General's message by calling the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation at 613-288-7009. Embargo: please hold until December 29, 2008.
