Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced today the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service. These changes reflect the improved, more streamlined approach to managing human resources in the Public Service.
Michelle d’Auray, currently Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, becomes Chief Human Resources Officer, Treasury Board Secretariat.
Claire Dansereau, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, becomes Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.
Nicole Jauvin, currently President of the Canada Public Service Agency, becomes Senior Advisor to the Privy Council Office to co-ordinate the establishment of the two new regional economic development agencies, pending her next Deputy Minister assignment.
These appointments are effective March 2, 2009.
