QUÉBEC –Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has released a list of February convictions of fish harvesters in the Gaspé and Lower St. Lawrence fined for various violations of the Fisheries Act.
The total amount of the fines imposed is $1,800. The offenders are:
The Department has a mandate to protect and conserve fishery resources and is ever vigilant in its efforts to prevent poaching of marine resources.
