(Gatineau (March 16, 2009) - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will hold a media availability on March 18, 2009 to make public its final investigation report (P07H0040) into the pipeline rupture that occurred on July 24, 2007 in Burnaby, British Columbia.
The Investigator-in-Charge will deliver a brief presentation. He will also be available to answer questions and provide one-on-one interviews on site.

The final report will be posted, at the same time, on the TSB website at www.tsb-bst.gc.ca.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
