Gatineau (March 2, 2009) - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will hold a media availability on March 3, 2009 to release two Marine investigation reports. One into the capsizing and loss of life aboard the Sea Urchin (M07N0117) which occurred on November 4, 2007, in Newman Sound, Newfoundland and Labrador. The other, into the capsizing and loss of life aboard the Big Sister (M07M0088) which occurred on November 13, 2007, in the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick.
The Investigator-in-Charge and Regional Manager will be available for interviews to answer questions.

The final reports will be posted, at the same time, on the TSB website at www.tsb.gc.ca.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
