Consumer Price Index, March 2009
Consumer prices rose 1.2% in the 12 months to March 2009, down from the 1.4% increase in February. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.3% from February to March.
Investment in non-residential building construction, first quarter 2009
Investment in non-residential building construction reached $10.8 billion (in current dollars) in the first quarter of 2009, down 1.8% from the fourth quarter of 2008. This marks the first decline since the fourth quarter of 2004.
