Edmonton, Alberta, May 29, 2009 – Laurie Hawn, Member of Parliament for Edmonton Centre, will officially announce on behalf of the Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and the Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence and Minister for the Atlantic Gateway, an important contract related to the Canadian Forces.
To get to the Edmonton Garrison Officers' Mess take highway 28A, turn right at Churchill Avenue and right again at Gothic Line Crescent. Parking is available at the Officers' Mess.
Mr. Hawn will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
