Dr. Frank Plummer, Scientific Director General for the Public Health Agency of Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory, Dr. Martine Dubuc, Vice President of the CFIA Science Branch, and Dr. Soren Alexandersen, Director of CFIA’s National Centre for Foreign Animal Disease will brief media on the science and testing involved in identifying the H1N1 flu virus (human swine flu), and on the epidemiological and laboratory support being provided in Mexico.
