OTTAWA - On June 22nd, 2009, during a change of command ceremony, the Commander of Maritime Command, Vice-Admiral Drew Robertson will relinquish command to Vice-Admiral Dean McFadden. The Chief of the Defence Staff, General Walt Natynczyk, will preside over the ceremony.
Media are welcomed to cover the event, but are asked to arrive no later than 10:30 a.m.

- Where: Cartier Square Drill Hall, 2 Queen Elizabeth Drive, Ottawa
Media availability: There will be a brief media availability following the ceremony, during which the new Commander of Maritime Command, Vice-Admiral McFadden, will be available to take questions from the media.
