QUEBEC CITY- Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, wants to inform the Côte-Nord population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to pollution, in accordance with the prohibition orders mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish areas:

From ''Snail'' rock to the Rochers du Saguenay
Baie des Chevaux
From the Pointe Rocheuse's lighthouse to a point west of Rivière Laval's fairway.
Îlets Jérémie
From a point located west of Baie des Ilets Jérémie to Pointe à Michel's nagivation light.
Pointe-aux-Outardes (ouest)
From the Centre d'interprétation du Parc Nature to the east at the Fisheries and Oceans marker.
La Grosse Pointe
From La Grosse Pointe to the mouth of the river Saint-Athanase west (covered bridge).
Battures de Manicouagan
From the mouth of river Saint-Athanase west (covered bridge) to Pointe Paradis.
Pointe Paradis
From Pointe Paradis to Coulée Père-Babel
