QUEBEC CITY- Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, wants to inform the Gaspesie population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to pollution, in accordance with the prohibition orders mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish areas:

Baie de Port-Daniel
From Pointe du Sud-Ouest to the west side of the road 132 bridge in Port-Daniel, including the waters of Petite Rivière Port-Daniel's estuary.
Estuaire de la rivière Saint-Jean
The Rivière Saint-Jean's estuary [Haldimand Lagoon], upriver from the railroad.
Jersey Cove
From Ruisseau des Whitty to 150 meters south Carse Point.
