Kitchener, June 19, 2009 — Ice dancer Kaitlyn Weaver will obtain her Canadian citizenship at a ceremony in Kitchener, Ontario. The special grant of citizenship, recommended to federal cabinet by Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney, will enable Ms. Weaver to be eligible to represent Canada at the upcoming Winter Olympics.
