GATINEAU, Quebec, Friday, June 15, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists, pedestrians and cyclists of the following lane closures:
MacDonald-Cartier Bridge - 15 to 19 June, 2009
The southbound lane directly adjacent to the sidewalk of the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19. As well, the sidewalk will be closed for the entire week.
Alexandra Bridge - 14 June until November 2009
Starting on Sunday, June 14, 2009, until November 2009, the Alexandra Bridge southbound lane to Ottawa will be closed to vehicular traffic during the night from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday night to Friday morning. Please note that the lane will remain open during Friday and Saturday nights.
