GATINEAU, Quebec, Friday, June 12, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists, pedestrians and cyclists that the southbound lane of the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19. As well, the sidewalk on the west side of the bridge will be closed on the same days from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
These closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the sidewalk.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
