Longueuil, Quebec, June 17, 2009 - The launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour with Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Julie Payette aboard, originally expected to take place this morning at 5:40 a.m. EDT has been scrubbed due to a similar gaseous hydrogen leak detected near the Ground Umbilical Carrier Plate (GUCP), that caused the delay of Saturday's launch.
NASA officials will meet today to review and discuss a new plan for launching the Shuttle. The next launch attempt is now expected on July 11, 2009 at 7:39 p.m. EDT.
The Canadian Space Agency will issue additional information as it becomes available.
