Montréal, Quebec, July 28, 2009 – The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) has established a specialized team of professionals to serve larger companies in the Greater Montreal area. The new team, which is located at the BDC Branch in Ville St-Laurent, is solely dedicated to lending commitments of at least $5 million to larger businesses.
The new group offers large businesses in the Greater Montreal area highly customized service to ensure they get the most out of their banking relationship. "With a dedicated team, our financial services managers can get much closer to clients and add more value," says Maggy Tawil, BDC Vice-President and District Manager, Montreal West. "The consulting group members are also really important because they offer expertise in key areas such as operational efficiency, HR management and business strategy."
The team offers financing solutions in areas such as land and building acquisitions, equipment purchases, working capital, and business transition.
