GATINEAU, Quebec, July 3, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing on Monday, July 6, 2009.
The roadway from Union Bridge to Middle Street will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Signs and traffic cones will be set up on the roadway to allow two-way traffic. These closures will not affect pedestrians.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
These lane closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the roadway.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these lane closures may cause.
