GATINEAU, Quebec, Monday, July 20, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists, pedestrians and cyclists that the northbound lane directly adjacent to the sidewalk of the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday, July 27, to Friday, July 31. The sidewalk will be closed all day and during the evenings and overnight as well; i.e., from 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather. These closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the sidewalk.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
