GATINEAU, Quebec, August 21, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that one lane of the Des Allumettes Bridge in Pembroke will be closed from 7:00 a.m. on August 24 to 3:30 p.m. on August 26.
One lane will remain open to traffic at all times and alternating traffic flow will be controlled using traffic lights at each approach of the bridge.
The schedule may change subject to weather conditions.
This lane closure is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause.
