GATINEAU, Quebec, August 28, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists of lane closures on the Chaudière Crossing on Sunday, August 30, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The two southbound lanes to Ottawa will be closed and traffic will be re-routed. During this period of time, the two northbound lanes to Gatineau will be used as two-way traffic. Flag personnel will direct traffic. These lane closures are necessary in order to carry out scheduled work at the Arch No. 3 structure.
The sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these lane closures may cause.
